React: predictable interfaces and application boundaries
A complete theory course in components, state, effects, accessible interaction, concurrency, hydration, and trustworthy component APIs.
Start learningIn this course
Learn React through explicit rendering and ownership contracts before progressing to external synchronization, data races, framework integration, and advanced scheduling. Each level contains six substantial lessons, two explained examples per lesson, diagnostic mistakes, and worked exercises.
Code examples are JSX component modules requiring a documented React host and build configuration. They use synthetic local data and do not require real services. Their non-runnable flag records that they are not complete standalone programs, even where isolated verification bundles them into a local test host.
What you will learn
- Build components with explicit props, state, identity, and form behavior.
- Separate events, pure calculations, refs, and Effects.
- Coordinate async results, routing boundaries, and accessible tests.
- Explain transitions, memoization, SSR, hydration, and server/client integration.
- Design secure, maintainable reusable component contracts.
