In this course

This complete theory course develops projects, billing, IAM, workload identity, locations, and networks before examining Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and observability. Advanced lessons connect security, infrastructure as code, costs, reliability, disaster recovery, and architecture decisions.

All cloud commands, service policies, and Terraform examples are illustrative and non-runnable. Executable demonstrations only parse embedded synthetic JSON or perform offline calculations. They explain reasoning and validation boundaries without accessing an account, creating resources, using credentials, or claiming a cloud deployment was tested.

What you will learn

  • Explain hierarchy, authorization, workload identity, and network reachability as separate controls.
  • Compare compute, object, relational, serverless, and messaging service contracts.
  • Design observable systems with explicit cost and reliability assumptions.
  • Review infrastructure changes and recovery plans without confusing local checks with cloud verification.

Who this is for

  • Learners seeking a careful conceptual foundation in Google Cloud.
  • Developers and operators reviewing identity, service contracts, failure domains, and operational ownership.

Before you start

  • Basic understanding of applications, IP networking, and files is helpful.
  • Read earlier levels before advanced architecture, or bring equivalent cloud knowledge.
